Yesterday was the 16th Birthday of Seabreeze, which is a beauty and day spa in Galway. It was such a fun evening. I wanted to share details about the salon today as it was so relaxing when I stepped through the doors that I thought if you are looking for a new beauty haven – then this could be it.
Seabreeze celebrating 16 years in business is certainly an amazing achievement. They have gone from strength to strength in recent years and I completely think that is down to the clear passion that owner Marcia Flatley. When we met she had such an amazing enthusiasm for the business and someone who loves their business as much as she does will always be successful.
When first walked in the whole premises just feel relaxing. Even with a room full of people celebrating – the overall atmosphere was still one of peace. They have a fab relaxation room with loungers to relax with as well as a sauna to use. The tour of the premises was great as it is rare that you get a tour of a spa and information about all the services that they offer. Dee their manager certainly knows every inch of the spa and she again shared the same enthusiasm that Marcia has for the business.
The salon has also keep moving forward with regards the treatments and services that they offer. I love that they are not afraid to try new skincare techniques and they do offer services such as micro-needling and CACI facials. You can check out their full list of treatments here. They also stock some amazing skincare brands such as Yonka, Image and Environ as well as a personal favourite of mine – Voya.
And did I mention that they do seaweed baths…. I LOVE a good seaweed bath!! I am lucky coming from Sligo that we have some amazing seaweed baths as I find them so good for the skin and relaxing as well. I cannot wait to pop into the spa to relax in one of their baths. Top of my to-do list for the New Year.
While I was there I was treated to an eyebrow threading. Threading is my preferred way of looking after my brows as I find it is less harsh on my skin than waxing and tweezing is such so painful. Threading uses a twisted cotton thread to remove the hair and I find it much more precise than waxing. I was delighted with the results and my brows are in tip top condition for the festive season. We were also gifted with the most amazing goodie bags which were beyond generous and I would like to say such a massive thank you to Marcia for being so kind.
If you are looking for a new beauty salon/ spa then I would say to give Seabreeze a look. There is loads of parking outside the premises and Oranmore is so easy to get to from Galway city as well. Also, something I have not seen too often – you can actually book your treatments ahead online. You can certainly expect to hear more about Seabreeze on here in the future 🙂
