On a very rare occasion, I hear about a collaboration and I tell everyone about it. It doesn’t happen often but when it does I literally tell everyone 🙂 Well this is one collaboration that even my non-beauty friends think is pretty awesome. Clinique and Crayola are teaming up to release a collection of their iconic Chubby Sticks in special limited edition Crayola packaging.
For some reason the whole idea of this collection just makes me smile. I have always thought of the Clinique Chubby Sticks as adult versions of the Crayola crayons and now that the two are combining – it’s just so fun and enchanting as well. I was watching Cherry Sue’s Snapchat (@CherrySue) when she showed them and I cannot wait to go out and get my own set. They just instantly threw up memories of my own childhood and getting a new box of crayons and ‘unboxing’ them 🙂
Clinique says that “Clinique colour is where your imagination meets its match. It’s about joy, surprise, and endless possibilities“. And I think that they have it bang on. It is also good timing as although they certainly carry an air of nostalgia, they also bring fun to what can often be a gloomy January. Most of the 10 shades are pink and red toned which I think will be very wearable – not too sure that I will be able to carry off the purple shade though!
Let’s be honest – most of us would love to go back to certain points in our childhood and this to me just the perfect excuse to colour outside of the lines. The collection is available now at Selfridges and from all Clinique counters from 03rd February!
