And it’s here – Fashion Independents Day 2016 (#FIDay)! This campaign is in its third year and aims to support independent retailers buy asking people to go into their local independent boutiques and support them. Over 500 boutiques from around the country are taking part today!
The powerhouse behind this initiative is Frockadvisor which was founded as I am sure you know by the amazing Brendan Courtney and Sonya Lennon. And is also being sponsored by heavy hitters sponsors at Virgin Media, AIB and Hailo – an amazing support for this fantastic day.
It is also being supported by some pretty big fashion crusaders such as; fashion bloggers Ciara O’Doherty (@CiaraODoherty), Louise Cooney ( @louisecooney_) Snapchat guru James Kavanagh ( @JamesKavanagh_), Fashion writer Jo Linehan (@Jo_Linehan) and so many more! They have the fun challenge of racing across the country going from boutique to boutique shining a spotlight on each and take selfies all the way. - Fashion fans: Download the frockadvisor app and follow your favourite boutiques to be in with a chance to win one of 2 smartphones!
- Boutiques: Get your customers to download the frockadvisor app, make sure they follow your store in app and you could win a store event hosted by Brendan Courtney and Sonya Lennon.
