Galway Fashion Trail Floralesque The Treasure Chest

We were warmly greeted by milliner Suzie Mahony and the lovely Mary Bennett outside the Treasure Chest store on William Street as we entered as part of the Galway Fashion Trail. This iconic store has a long history in Galway and I was really looking forward to their show and it certainly did not disappoint. The show included both dramatic and casual daytime looks.

The variance of looks is reflective of the Treasure Chest – there are outfits for so many different looks and occasions there. The store also has so many gifts and souvenirs to buy and it turns into a Winter Wonderland at Christmas.

Many of the outfits were complemented by Suzie Mahony headpieces and her magical pieces are always timeless. What I love about her pieces is that they are wearable – sometimes I love head pieces but I don’t think I could carry them off, with her pieces I always feel that I could wear them – and I intend to for a wedding in May as well!
