Recently I attended the Michael Kors Jet Set 6 Collection Launch in Brown Thomas in Dublin and it was a really good event. Brown Thomas is a great place to attend an event (read more here) as it always feels luxurious and there is generally also time to do some shopping there as well. We were all treated to drinks and nibbles and I have to say that the staff were both friendly and helpful – it was also fantastic that we got seats to watch the launch!
The collection itself is beautiful and also wearable. Sometimes I find that when a show collection drops I don’t think that I could wear them in daily life but the Michael Kors Jet Set 6 is different. I fell in love with one pair in particular – the Maxwell Denim And Leather Wedge in the image above. It is so wearable and subtle. I could see myself wearing these with navy skinnies and also a white sundress with which I think that they would be just perfect – especially if I was on a sunny beach promenade.
I just also have to mention these little beauties – the Keaton Slip On Shoes also by Michael Kors. I love the floral pattern on them and they would be just perfect for running around during the summer months.
The event was hosted by Irish Super Blogger Erika Fox (aka. Retroflame), she is actually based in New York so flew over for the event. She was as always a warm host though I would say that the crowds that turned up was probably a little intimidating but she did make the time to take photos with everyone.
