Floralesque My Favourite Kate Spade pieces

So I have a confession… I am a slightly Kate Spade obsessed. She has to be one of my favourite designers- the feel and quality of her products are just amazing and I love the preppy feel about them. Today I thought that I would share some of my My Favourite Kate Spade pieces with you in case you are not aware of the brand as I do think that there is something for everyone and it may inspire you to visit one of their beautiful stores.

This is the first Kate Spade purchase which I brought while I was in the States two years ago. It is a medium sized black leather bag and I love it. It fits in the crook of my arm and also comes with the longer strap that you can attach. The leather in Kate Spade bags is of amazing quality – I have worn this alot as it holds a lot but looks very neat, but it has minimal signs of wear and tear. I think that sometimes it is important to remember that in an age of fast fashion sometimes paying a little more will mean that the product will last longer and if brought in a classic design it will mean that you can fashionably wear it for years.

This bag I picked up in the Kate Spade outlet store in Kildare Village during the Summer. It is bright and fun and just epitomizes that Summer feeling. I can’t wear this all year around but I know that next Summer it’ll certainly cheer up any outfit.

And look at the super, bright colourful inside – she really does think of everything!Floralesque My Favourite Kate Spade pieces

If you are looking for something small to start your collection with then a card holder could be the perfect item. I find these so handy and go between this pick Kate Spade one, a brown leather Michael Kors one and a black Kurt Geiger one. They are a simple way to add a bit of designer into your wardrobe without breaking the budget. I use them for when I am heading out in the evening and bringing a smaller handbag and just want somewhere to keep my cards, ID and perhaps a note with me.

Floralesque My Favourite Kate Spade pieces Places to go, People to seeKate Spade as you may know also has books and they are just as fabulous as you can imagine. The above are from her ‘Places to go, People to See’ book. I brought this on a whim during the year and it has become on of my favourite coffee table books. It is full of high quality, glossy images and adds a burst of colour to the table. A new book has been launched this year called ‘All in good taste‘ and is ‘a charming entertaining guide to throwing chic, stylish get-togethers’ and it is on my wishlist for this Christmas.
