Isabel Gray is an emerging designer whose colourful pieces have certainly caught my eye. I love her use of bright, vibrant colours and also her use of tulle in the most unusual ways! Today I am sharing some pieces from her new collection including a very adorable fish bag.
Isabel’s new collection is a continuation of her playful, colourful aesthetic, whilst experimenting with volume, new techniques and a move into handbags as well. I like that she is not afraid to use colour as sometimes designers like to play it safe and personally, I always love to have an accessory pop in my outfit.
I have actually featured Isabel before on Floralesque – with an interview here. It was such a great interview – we discussed her pathway into design, her inspirations and her favourite textiles to work with. Certainly if you would like to learn more about the designer then the interview is a great place to start.
The bib style designs that Isabel creates are some of my favourite. I actually own one very similar to the pink one above but in grey and it adds such an interesting dynamic to any outfit. I love wearing a slightly plainer outfit, like all black, and then having the bib pop and it always draws some great attention as well.
Her fish handbag is her first foray into handbag design and isn’t it just so bright and fun! The level of detail in the fins is so interesting and the lining is such a bright purple.
First time here, but now I’ll be definitely coming back! Stunning blog!
Thanks Keira 🙂 And if there is anything that you would like to see more of please let me know x
