As many of you may have realised by now, I am on an ever-weaving health and wellness path and continue to try and make healthier choices and also just make better choices for me. I am enjoying being more mindful as well as working out more – and since quitting sugar I am much more balanced feeling.

But now that it is March my motivation is slipping slightly which is why when I was contacted about the Get Up and Go Event that is taking place in Sligo on Fri, 21 Apr 2017 & Sat, 22 Apr 2017 I eagerly signed up.

The event takes place over two days and the theme for 2017 is Get Up and Go with Passion and Purpose, chosen to inspire everyone to think about what you are truly passionate about and to discover how to create purpose in life by living true to your passion. What I loved about this event is that features talks from ordinary people who have achieved extraordinary things. Sometimes in the past at talks that I have gone to – the people can feel slightly out of touch and that you could not achieve what they have. But this sounds different. I have also heard two of the speakers talk before – Breifne Earley and Nikki Bradly, and I took so much from their talks.
