I am sure that many of you will be familiar with the Irish Actress and Designer Amy Huberman. Well yesterday she visited Gosh Shoes in the Eyre Square Shopping Center and thought that I would pop along as I am a fan of her Bourbon Shoe collection.
Amy was just as lovely in person as she is online and in interviews and we had a great chat about the importance of Irish Design and the high quality of the work from Irish Designers. It was lovely to talk to her as she was so genuine and had so much energy! She was also wearing a stunning Lucy Nagle cashmere sweater which just looked the cosiest.
Her partnership with Bourbon Shoes actually started back in 2012, and since then has gone on to be very successful and I think part of that is the fact that Amy clearly thinks of the customer when it comes to comfort! Her boots are very comfy and you can last a whole day shopping in them quite easily.
The stand out boot from today was certainly the Boom Town Couch Boot. I loved the shape and overall feel of the boot and the camel colour will go with most outfits this Winter. They would also be well suited to Galway’s weather!
