If there is one thing that I love for Summer – it is bright colours. And if we add in a little floral I am happy. And that is why the new Caroline Flack’s Debut x River Island Collaboration is so perfect for now.
The 19 piece Holiday collection was inspired by the 70s, Caroline’s favourite era, and it’s the perfect collection for a summer of love and the bright colours would be perfect in a cafe in Galway or by the beach on the Algarve. I also think that many of the pieces will age quite well, so you should be able to get your #30Wears from any piece that you buy.
These block heel sandals are actually my top pick from the collection (we all know I love a block heel!), they look super comfortable and so easily styled as well. They would be perfect for styling with a Summer dress or even styled with jeans. The colours are also muted enough that they will go with many different outfits.
There is also this stunning yellow maxi dress which is just beautiful. The tropical print is perfect for Summer and with its light material would even be suited in the oddly hot week that we are having.

Who are your ultimate style icons?
My whole RI collection is 70s inspired. So, I’d say Kirsten Dunst in The Virgin Suicides. Or, Kate Hudson in Almost Famous.
What’s the vibe of the collection?
With it being a summer collection, it’s obviously inspired by the sunshine and falling in love. It’s bright, practical and the perfect capsule range for a holiday. Any friends that I’ve secretly shown the collection to have told me it’s totally me, it’s like I’m walking into my own wardrobe!
