Ciara Silke
Ciara Silke is a Galway based designer who creates beautifully elegant scarves that have the stunning effect of making you feel elegant and decadent. Brendan creates beautiful handmade pieces that are made from natural fibres of Cashmere, Silk & Linen. And each collection has a wonderful story to go along with it. Something very unusual is that their newest weave structure embodies the incredible dance of light on water, inspired by Ireland’s position ‘at the edge of the world’. As natural light touches their braille-like silk & linen surfaces, these pieces awaken, changing colour. My Hazel Greene scarf is always one that gets so many compliments when I wear it due to the outstanding finish and vibrant colours. I would certainly recommend one of her pieces to anyone who loves when art and design combine.
