Shane O’Sullivan is the founder of the Irish Company Easilocks and I was delighted to be invited to his latest launch and to support a great Irish Entrepreneur. Easilocks has just gone from strength to strength since he founded it and even now has celebrity fans such as Kourtney Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Margot Robbie and the beautiful Alex Gerrard.
The night was to launch Shane’s new Home Care Range. Before this Easilocks was only available in Salons. They have launched a selection of high quality hairbrushes, accessories and tools and they just look great. The Easilocks hair hero I can see being on many a Christmas list this year! There is also a shampoo and conditioner with caviar extracts (fancy!) as well as a hair serum. I have the opportunity to try out the Rose Gold Hair Oil and it just looks lush. It is both a conditioning oil as well as a heat protector which is great. I’ll let you know how I get on 🙂
They also launched their celebrity range. This is a selection of heat resistant hair pieces that look, feel and act like real hair. They are using the latest fibre hair technology so that it mimics real hair. Each piece can be styled, blow-dried, straightened and waved with heat up to 200 degrees Celsius!! When they were adding them to people’s hair, they fitted in quite naturally and also surprisingly quickly. I think that these would be handy to try and give more volume to my own hair.
Shane also spoke at the event and it was great to hear him talk about the need for quality hair extensions and what is important to him. He wanted quality in the products but also priced at a point where people could buy and use them at home. I love the belief behind the brand and his own passion for it. It is great to see an Irish Company be so successful and yet he is such a funny, down to earth guy in person and it was great to talk to him for a few minutes.
The launch itself was held in the beautiful Cliff Townhouse on Stephen’s Green, The room we were in was just beautiful. High ceilings, open balcony doors, dusty pink walls and beautiful chandeliers created just the right atmosphere for the evening. We were treated to delicious canopies and prosecco and I don’t think that there was anyone in there who wasn’t having a fun evening.
There as a fantastic turnout for the event with some high profile attendees such as Lorraine Keane, Vogue Williams, Joanne Larby and Jackie Lavin. And also some fellow bloggers who I was delighted to see from blogs like Style Boothique, Glamforce, Sincerely SeraJay, the Chatterbox Diaries, Darling buds of Mei, Sinead deBlogger, Pure Irish Sugar and the Yellow Polka Dot Bikini Blog to name but a few.
All in all it was a great event and a fantastic launch for a brilliant Irish Brand. Make sure you check out their website and you can expect to see Easilocks in pharmacies very soon!
