When I seen the Autumn Winter collection from luxury brand Edge Only I knew I just had to share it on here. The theme is Mechanical and the designer Jenny Huston is bang on point with the minimalist, industrial inspired pieces.
For those who may not be aware, Edge Only is designed and made in Ireland and they create solid gold and silver jewellery in edgy designs for men & women. The latest collection was inspired by the designer going to see a preview of Leonardo Da Vinci’s “The Mechanics of Genius”, and the industrial vibe that is worked into the collection manages to be both chic and have a tough edge.
“‘Mechanical’ is all about surface and touch; the Worry Ring is designed to be played with. It is inspired by old Rosary rings and the idea that they provided comfort to the believer with a worry – the Edge Only Worry Ring is for people of the modern world to help ease their stress and anxiety, a focal point for fidgeting. Also, it just looks cool!”, says Jenny.
Just looking at the collection gives a sense of fierceness into the rugged, slightly masculine collection and I love it. My favourite pieces are certainly the lightening bolt and the worry ring. A slight side note but Edge Only have a fantastic Jewellery care section.
