Galway Designers is a group created to help promote, connect with and bring awareness to independent Designers and Crafters in Galway and the West of Ireland. And I love when people come togeather to help support and promote Irish Design. The network is just starting out but have already started to gain traction and I am looking forward to what they do in the future.
This Saturday they are holding a showcase highlighting the work of 9 local designers, ranging from Milliners to Jewellery, Knitwear to Clothing Design which is an excellent mix of skills. It is such a great opportunity for the public to also get to talk to the designers face to face and to see their amazing pieces up close and personal on the catwalk.
Here is the line up;
- Cozy Handmade Designs
- Emerald x Wax
- Michelle Kearns Designs
- Happy Crafts
- Kizmet Clothing
- Roseanne McNamee Designs
- Treats and Trinkets by Emma A

If you are also interested in learning more about Roseanne McNamee you can read an interview that I did with her here.
And a note also has to be said for the host of the day – the stunning beauty blogger Ruth from The Beauty Kemple. Ruth loves all things beauty and design and will be the perfect host for the day.
