There are some designers that you will see over and over again on Floralesque and Mairead deBlaca is one of them. I loved her pieces when I seen them in the Design House in Dublin and the interview that I did with her (you can read it here) was great to do as well. So today I am back to tell you about the launch of her beautiful I am Dreaming Pendant.

It is part of a collection that includes other size pendants, rings, earrings and a bangle. They are available in sterling silver and covered in lashings of 18ct gold (how lush!). I just love the minimalist appearance of the pendant.

What I loved about this piece is that again similar to the imperfect heart ring it is inspired by her own artwork. This creative spark to create a piece of jewellery from a piece of your own art I find amazing. This pendant is a modern design based on her dream sequence paintings.

‘We can dream for something and work very hard to make your dream a reality. Each circular piece has smaller circles designed on it.  ‘When it is a reality we have completed the circle.’

Mairead has said that when she paints dreams she sees them as circles within circles, dreams within dreams. This necklace is simple, elegant and great for everyday styling – a symbol of dreams and what the future can hold.

All of Mairéad’s jewellery is designed and of course made in Ireland.  So if you are looking for a gift for someone special (or a treat for you!) then I would really say to go check out Mairead’s website. You can also follow DeBláca also on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
