Ice Cream Colours lead the way into Spring Summer 2018.

My favourite colour has to be a soft pink, I have always adored the colour and many a time mocked for my love of it! When I saw the trend creeping in for a pastel palette for Spring Summer 2018, to say I was excited was an understatement.

The tones are beautiful and will work with so many different skin tones which is fantastic. It also means that I can indulge in my love of all things pink and pastel with ease! I first saw the beautiful sugared almond trend on the catwalks of so many different designers from Tom Ford to Preen (Serious swoon!!) to Hermès to Helmut Lang to Victoria Beckham and many more in between. And we all know that what we see on the catwalk will generally filter down to the high street and this gelato infused inspiration was no exception.

Interestingly the Autumn Winter 2018 London Fashion Week of Spanish prêt-à-couture brand Delpozo’s colour palette was very much pastels. Pink was the base of this collection, mixed with ivory, camel, canary yellow, chalk blue and navy blue. Beautifully, water lilies and lotus flowers turn into the organic inspiration of the season and the collection was truly stunning.

Today I wanted to share some of my favourite pieces that are online at the moment – both high street and also some luxury pieces. The high street has really embraced the trend and I am loving the choice out there at the moment. And if you want to accessorise further you can read more about my favourite Spring Shoe trends here. Is this a trend that you will get on board with when the weather gets a little better?
