Irish Design Works 2018 Exhibition

The Irish Design Works 2018 Exhibition looks like it is going to be another amazing event this year. I love that this Irish Design event happens in Galway and the high standard of of craftsmanship and innovative design on display is something that is just wonderful to see. The reason I love going each year (this is it’s fourth year), is that I always find a new designer that I had not heard of before, and it also it is a fantastic event to go to for some interiors inspiration!

Design Island is a network of designer makers who pool their resources to promote their work through exhibition both in Ireland and abroad. In this year’s show we present furniture, lighting, stone and metal sculpture, glass, ceramics and wood turning. All the work is designed and made in Ireland to the highest standard both in terms of craftsmanship and innovative design. And the Galway event features mostly Galway designers along with some others, but I love that you are not only supporting Irish Design but Local Irish Designers.
