LookWest.ie Christmas Gift Guide Feature

LookWest.ie Christmas Gift Guide Feature

LookWest.ie recently asked me to write a feature Gift Guide for their website that focused on Irish Designers and Makers in the West of Ireland. I was delighted to be asked and the piece has now gone live so I wanted to share with you.

I was asked to pick 10 Irish Designers and Makers to feature from the West of Ireland and it was so difficult! There are so many talented makers out there that I could have easily picked 30 to feature. I decided to choose a selection of designers that covered a variety of disciplines so there would something that would suit everyone. From differing types of gifts to differing price points as well.

The designers that I featured in the article were; Martina Hamilton, Graham Reid Design, The Atlantic Equipment Project,  Rowan Beg Scented Soy Candles, Katie and Maud, Lisa Ryder Designs, Ogham Wish, Emily Jean Millinery, Aine Knitwear and also Living Ginger Designs. Many of these designers have featured on Floralesque before and I love being able to showcase their talents.

LookWest.ie for those who are not familiar with them, provide information for individuals setting up a business or looking to relocate to the West. They are a fantastic resource and if you are thinking of setting up in West of Ireland you should certainly contact them. They are literally an online guide to life in the West. They, of course, cover business but I also like their lifestyle style posts talking about what life is like. They have a very interesting website, as well as being active on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
