MADE Store & Gallery, Dublin

The [ MADE ] Store & Gallery in Dublin is the perfect hidden gem in the bustling city that hides among the rooftops and is home to some stunning Irish and European Designed pieces. I have wanted to pop in for the last few months and recently I’m glad I made the time to take a wander around this concept store.

The store itself is one of my favourites to wander around – airy, light filled, white and spacious. I am not a fan of stores that try and cram everything into as small a space as possible as it doesn’t feel like it’s somewhere that you can browse in peace. I like a feeling that you can take your time and enjoy the experience. [MADE] is a luxurious space that allows you to discover new and old brands alike. A point to note also is that the staff are lovely – I am sure that we have all experienced going into an open store and feeling slightly like you are intruding (or that could just be me!), but the staff were downright friendly but not over bearing which was great.

The Designers

Some of my favourite pieces that I seen when I was there was neck pieces by Manley (you can read an interview with Emma here), jumpers by Jill De Burca, clutches by Ale Walsh and beautiful colourful designs by We Are Islanders (you can read an interview with Deirdre here).

They do host a great array of designers such as Danielle Romeril, Laura Kinsella, Sorcha O’Raghallaigh, Edge Only, Edel Traynor, Beatriz Palacio and Natalie B Coleman to name but a few. And I am quite sure that I didn’t even see everything on this visit!

They also host an amazing collection of Chupi pieces, her designs are stunning and so wearable. Certainly if you are looking for a unique, Irish Designed work of art then a Chupi piece certainly fits all of these boxes.

Make sure that you pop into [MADE] next time you are in the city center, it’s located on the top floor of the Powerscourt Townhouse on 59 South William Street in Dublin 2. Their Instagram is visually beautiful as is their website and I cannot wait to visit again next time as I am in Dublin! 🙂
