I interviewed Maria Dorai-Raj back in April (you can read it here) and since then I have wanted to purchase one of her pieces as they really are like works of art. The perfect opportunity came up a few weeks ago she took part of a designer sample sale in Dublin and I picked up this beautiful necklace while I was there. I love the striking simplicity of the design and yet it still has an edgy look to it.

The sample sale was actually excellent with pieces from Manley (you can read my interview with Emma Manley here) as well as Caroline Kilkenny, Mona Swims, Jill De Burca, Theo & George, Electronic Sheep, Edge Only and Love & Robots. I would keep an eye out for sample sales such as these because although they are rare you can get some amazing pieces and unique finds.
