Sneak Peek at Penny’s Autumn/Winter 2018 Collection

Autumn is my favourite season of the year, as much as I love Summer days there is something so cosy about when Autumn sets in, with the leaves falling from the trees and the opportunity to layer up! And I am all about the layers, which is why when I had a sneak peek at Penny’s Autumn Winter 2018 Collection I knew I had to share.

Colour is delightfully the order of the collection and I love that Pennys are embracing such vibrant and bold reds, blues yellow and tartan. It certainly felt very 1980’s disco-inspired and I loved the fun element to the collection. Often in Autumn, the palette switches to more muted tones and while I do enjoy a deep purple or navy, I have ALWAYS loved brighter colours. There is actually a multi-coloured bomber jacket that, to be honest, I think will have to be a guilty purchase…

And for those who adore leopard print – this pattern is certainly core to the collection – from handbags to shoes to trousers to jackets – the collection has it all. The animal print is everywhere and universally the coat of the season is a leopard nonconforming calf-length style that is belted and cinched in at the waist for a full-on feminine-feel. Probably not one I can carry off but these will no doubt be a sellout.

There is one piece that stood out a mile for me that was this stunning jumper! I love the softness of it and the striped rainbow colours are just stunning. It will be such a versatile piece and I know will just look adorable on.

How beautiful are the pearl buttons on the tartan shirt?

The collection will start releasing in stores from August – are there any pieces that you would like to get your mitts on?
