I actually squealed when I saw the news on WWD yesterday – Top Blogger Chiara Ferragni is collaborating with my absolute favourite brand Disney to release a Minnie Mouse inspired Collection! The collection is striking, beautiful and most certainly on my wish list.
Many of you may be aware of who Chiara is, if not, she is seen as one of the Original Bloggers in their current form and runs the website The Blonde Salad. I have always looked up to her as she has literally built an empire and has taken her website into much more than a blog and has her own shoe line that is a success in its own right. I really admire her business sense and drive and also that she has brought her blog to such a level that she is now taken seriously as a fashion influencer by the major fashion players/editors.
This is also a collaboration that I think other brands should take note of – Chiara has shared Disney products so many times in the past and she is known for her love of the brand. She is also a shoe designer herself. This collaboration makes sense. It is not one where someone’s name was just added to a product or we have never seen the two in the same image before – they utilised her skills but also know that she loves the brand and that certainly comes through in the capsule collection.
These beautiful mules are for sale here. They describe them as – Slip into something chic with these velvet mules in the perfect shade of pink. Minnie’s iconic bow in clear sparkling gems makes them instant eye-catchers. How beautiful are they? Have to say that I do quite like them!
