When February comes around, for some reason I always start shopping for boots and Spring transition shoes/heels. I think it is to do with the slightly longer days and the general fresh feeling in the air. And also wanting to get out of the Winter footwear which often feels more cumbersome than a lighter Spring Shoe! So today I thought that I would share some of my favourite shoes at the moment from high street to luxury as well as including one or two sale picks that I am trying to resist buying!
I cannot quite explain my utter fascination with floral boots. I love the statement that they can bring the plainest outfit as well as giving such a beautiful pop of colour to your day as well. Also, being realistic, in Galway it rains…. a lot… and sometimes boots just work better day to day but that does not mean that they have to be boring!

Leather Ankle Boots
Certainly, my second favourite boot trend that is out there right now. There are some stunning black leather boots with some stand out buckle detailing on them. I may have already ordered a pair of these ones today while researching for this post….

I live in loafers in Spring. I find them super comfortable, give you some protection against the elements since many are leather and also add a stylish element to an outfit. They can also add a preppy edge to a look which is how I like wearing them.

You cannot look online but to see some sock boots. I like when they are worn with a pair of frayed ended Levis but not as much a fan of them being worn with skirts for some reason. Again, there are some beautiful bring pairs available.

Are there any heels, flats or boots that have caught your eye this Spring?
