When we headed to the House Hotel for Afternoon Tea (which was delicious and you can read about here), we stayed for a few cocktails after and I’m so glad that we did. The entire afternoon had been such a relaxed experience that cocktails were the perfect way to finish off the evening.
I had tasted their cocktails before and was already a fan. They have an extensive cocktail menu and be warned it can take a while to choose. Or you could do what I felt the absolute need to do before and to try an assortment – just to be sure that I found my favourite 🙂
The lobby as well as the bar is just the perfect place to relax with friends and have a few delicious cocktails. There are plenty of cute little nooks like the above or the sofas in the lobby would be good for larger groups. The colour scheme would also be perfect for photos, and the odd selfie! They do have a bar area as well which you can sit in, but personally, I just fell in love with the entire lobby area.
With the Galway Races not too far away, I think that The House Hotel, could be just perfect for an evening during Race Week – and if you book early you may also get accommodation. Overall, the House Hotel is fun, luxurious and super central in Galway City. I am trying to find a negative here but honestly, I just think that this hotel ticks so many boxes and I know that I will be back again to visit.
